The words of love are many...
since time first began...
They're sung by all the singers...
and played by every band...

They're written by the poets...
by writers from all time...
They're written as a sonnet...
They're written too in rhyme...

Words with deep emotion...
Words meant to express...
All of passion's feelings...
and those of tenderness...

Musicians play the love notes...
with guitar and violin...
They strum the heart with memories...
of all the love that's been...

The memories of youthful love...
The memories of love lost...
The memories we cling to...
and never counted cost...

Most or part of memories...
are the expression of the word...
Moving us by heart-string tugs...
when at the time they're heard...

The words that our heart listens to...
some familiar, some are not...
May bring us back to feelings that...
we thought were long forgot...

The ones that mean the most to us...
and the ones that we hold dear...
Are said by those we love today...
The ones we love to hear!
